Supermodel pals Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell paid tribute to late friend, designer Alexander McQueen the best way they know how on Thursday night - by wearing his designs, reports The Mail.

The two models and McQueen's muse Annabelle Neilsen kicked off the Fashion For Relief - Haiti charity show at London's Somerset House wearing blue mini-dresses from his last collection, Spring/Summer 2010.

During their star-studded catwalk show, Campbell enlisted her celebrity friends, including a pregnant Denise Van Outen, Geri Halliwell, Girls Aloud singers Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh and even Dame Shirley Bassey to strut their stuff for a good cause.

Following the show, all of the clothing will be auctioned off online to raise money for the White Ribbon Alliance's work with the survivors of the Haitian earthquake.

As well as organising the show, Campbell showed off her famous figure in a series of dresses and sashayed down the catwalk a dapper-looking Piers Morgan and her mother Valerie Campbell.

Former Spice Girl Halliwell flaunted her honed and toned figure in a tiny pink ruffled mini-dress, before changing into a specially-designed Vivienne Westwood charity T-shirt to raise money for Haiti.

Drawing one of the night's biggest cheers was Van Outen, who was reportedly axed from the new BBC Andrew Lloyd Webber show to find a new West End star because she is pregnant.

The former Big Breakfast presenter looked positively glowing in a flowing cream Grecian-style Jasmine Di Milo gown.

The London show comes days after Campbell hosted a similar event in New York to kick off New York Fashion Week.

Campbell said: 'I am deeply saddened by the recent tragedy in Haiti. So many have been killed and severely affected by the earthquake - women and children in particular are most vulnerable in disasters. Fashion is universal, personal and touches everyone.'

Sarah Brown - patron of the White Ribbon Alliance, which promotes safe pregnancy and chidbirth - took to the stage in a dark Issa dress to tell the audience about the charity.

Writing on her Twitter page after the show, she said: 'It was amazing, so many generous people giving their time to walk down that catwalk...

'Amazing models, extraordinary designs, and Andrew Flintoff, Ronnie Corbett (yes, indeed), Geri Halliwell, Nicola and Kimberly from GA...

'There is more: James Corden & David Walliams (together), Jo Wood, Trudi Styler, Beverly Knight and a radiant Dame Shirley Bassey.'

Drawing the biggest laugh of the night was newly-engaged Walliams and Gavin & Stacey star Corden.

After sashaying down the catwalk in the campest way possible, the comedians then kissed each other, to the delight of the cheering audience.

Also providing a bit of fun was veteran comedian Ronnie Corbett, who danced along the catwalk to Michael Jackson classic Billie Jean with Alexandra Burke.

The night wasn't without a little drama. London model Tolula Adeyemi nearly fell into the audience after slipping in her giant high heels.

Writing on her Twitter page afterwards, she said: 'OMG almost took a tumble in those shoes on Naomi's catwalk! Two sizes too big... almost did a Naomi on Naomi's catwalk-but a save, gracefully executed.'

Following in the footsteps of their bandmate Cheryl Cole, who appeared in last year's Fashion For Relief show, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh donned very different black outfits.

Walsh showed off her curves in a tight-fitting long black gown, while Roberts flashed the flesh in a risqué lace Guilty Brotherhood body and platform heels.

Seated in the front row was Bob Geldof and his partner Jeanne Marine, watching his daughter Pixie model several designs.

Just like Campbell and Moss, Pixie wore one of McQueen's last designs, as well as a tiny black Diane Von Furstenberg number.

Also making the event a family affair was singer Jamelia, who wore a little black dress and was escorted down the catwalk by her daughters Teja and Tiani.

Other celebrities on the runway last night included Erin O'Connor, The Saturdays, Freddie Flintoff, Larry Lamb and Jo Wood.
