Los Angeles: Actress Julianne Moore is in the race to grab an Oscar for her performance in the movie "Still Alice", but her kids aren't worried.
The actress has been nominated in Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role category. The nominations were revealed Thursday.
The actress shared her children Caleb and Liv's fascination with her other movie "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part One", during an interview with Us Weekly magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk
"They could take or leave the Oscars. 'Mockingjay' was a big deal," she said.
Moore, who is married to director Bart Freundlich, is determined not to get swept up by the buzz over the awards.
"I try to take it one day at a time. Otherwise, I get overwhelmed.
“I have a couple of dress options. I don't like to do things last-minute. I'm always impressed when people say, 'I chose it 15 minutes ago',” she said.
In "Still Alice", the 53-year-old plays a professor grappling with Alzheimer's disease.
