New York, Jan 3: Actress Julianne Hough, seen in movies like "Footloose", has revealed that she faced physical and mental abuse as a child.
It happened when Hough was 10 years old and living in London, away from her parents in Utah, to study dance.
"I was abused, mentally, physically, everything," Hough told Cosmopolitan magazine.
She said adults took advantage of her being without parents' supervision, reports people.com.
"I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love," she said.
The 24-year-old says the abuse became worse "when I started hitting puberty, when I started becoming a woman and stopped being a little girl".
