Los Angeles: Jon Favreau is grateful that stars like Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr. agreed to be part of his indie project "Chef".
"I am very thankful to Scarlett and Robert for their cooperation. They are really good friends and their participation in the movie has been very helpful," Favreau said in a statement.
The director of the "Iron Man" series, Favreau had to pull a lot of strings together to make a film he genuinely believed in, and thus came "Chef".
After a limited release in the US, Hollywood film "Chef", a comedy about a Miami-born workaholic in Los Angeles, is hitting Indian screens Friday.
Distributed by MVP Entertainment India, the film is directed, written by and stars Favreau as chef Carl Casper. The film also stars Sofia Vergara and Dustin Hoffman.
