Los Angeles, Jan 1: Actress Scarlett Johansson never thinks about her marriage because she realised a successful relationship doesn't necessarily have to mean being married.
The 28-year-old says she loved her union with Ryan Reynolds, who she wed in September 2008, and split from just over two years later.
"I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It's hard to put into words," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Johansson as saying.
"To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn't mean you have to be married. I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me," she said.
The "Hitchcock" actress insists marrying again is not high on her list of priorities because she is not at a point in her life where it is something she needs to consider.
"Would I get married again?" It's really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I'm not having kids any time soon, I'm in a nice relationship, I'm working a lot and, like I said, it's not important to me," she said.
