Los Angeles, July 6: Rapper and record producer Jay-Z, who discovered singers Rihanna and Rita Ora, has now given a chance to a teenager in the music industry.
A 16-year-old Canadian girl, Ebony Oshunrinde, has been chosen by Jay-Z to be a producer on his new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail".
Oshunrinde got the chance after she passed a reggae-inspired beat composed by her to friend Travis Scott, who works with the rapper, reports thesun.co.uk.
"It's a really good feeling. I want to show young people that they can do it,” said Oshunrinde.
“Travis texted me and said, ‘I'm about to change your life'. Usually, that doesn't happen to 16-year-olds. A lot more people want to work with me now. It's pretty cool,” she added.
