Los Angeles, Aug 23: Songwriter Jerry Leiber, famous for his collaborations with Mike Stoller including the Elvis Presley hit Hound Dog, died on Monday at age 78, his representatives said.


Leiber died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, said Randy Poe, the president of his publishing company.
