New Delhi: Every year many celebs find a soul-mate and tie the nuptial knot. Others decide to hold hands and cover some more distance before making up their mind.
The year 2014 saw some high profile weddings like Pitt-Jolie, Clooney-Alamuddin. A few of them, unfortunately, decided to part their ways.

Chris Martin-Gwyneth Paltrow
The Academy Award winner actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay singer Chris Martin have been together for the last 12 years. Paltrow met him three weeks after the death of her father in 2002. They “conscious uncoupled” themselves in March. The couple has two children.
Freida Pinto-Dev Patel
Freida Pinto and Dev Patel made their debut together in Danny Boyle's Academy Award winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire.' The couple has been dating since 2009.
The Indian actress and British actor decided to end their, almost six years old, relationship in December 2014.
Katy Perry-John Mayer
The couple met last year and started dating soon after. The ‘Dark Horse' singer Katy Perry and American singer John Mayer's relationship was always shaky, as the couple broke-up a few times earlier as well. The relationship ended when Katy caught John cheating on her with his spin instructor Lauren McHale in February this year.
Melanie Griffith-Antonio Banderas
The married couple for 18 years, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas finally called off their relationship in June. The ‘Lolita' actress filed the divorce suit before the court, stating that the differences between them were irreconcilable. The couple, in a joint statement, said that they are divorcing each other in a very ‘friendly and loving' manner.
Uma Thurman-Arpad Busson
Before breaking up in April this year, the ‘Kill Bill' actress Uma Thurman had been dating the French financier Arpad Busson since 2007. The couple was engaged at the time of their separation. Interestingly, it was their second engagement. First time they got engaged in 2008, but broke up a few months later. The couple has a daughter together and are legally fighting for her custody now.
