Los Angeles: Singer Chris Brown has stopped paying $10,000 per month in child support after he was denied visitation with daughter Royalty.
The agreement was set to start on July 1, but it fell apart when Brown sought a visitation with Royalty this week only to learn that she was with his mother Joyce Hawkins in Virginia, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The 26-year-old initially wanted to pay $2,500 per month, but settled on the amount after Royalty's mother Nia Guzman was seeking $15,000 per month, according to an article on Thursday by TMZ.
A source said Brown became angry since he's had frosty relations with his mother. Meanwhile, Guzman claimed it was the first time that Brown was denied visitation.
Brown also filed legal documents on Wednesday seeking to establish the paternity of Royalty in order to resolve custody and child support issues. The petition was filed in Houston, where Guzman lives with the child.
