London: Actor Chris Hemsworth will join fellow co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston here in January to film new scenes for "Avengers: Age of Ultron".
Hemsworth (who plays Thor), Downey Jr (Iron Man), Hiddleston (Loki), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) have been asked to keep their schedules blank for two weeks in January to shoot extra scenes at London's Pinewood Studios for the superhero sequel, reports contactmusic.com.
The film's director Joss Whedon will reportedly not require all the stars to fly here, but he is said to have sent out an early request to ensure they would be available, if necessary.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, these extra measures have been taken to give the movie a bit ''more kick-*** on an extravagant scale''.
