London, May 14: TV actress Charlie Brooks is happy working in the TV show "EastEnders", but also wants to pursue her Hollywood dreams.
"I've only just returned to 'EastEnders' and I'm really happy. I've some big storylines coming up and am really excited by them," thesun.co.uk quoted Brooks as saying.
However, according to the sources, the 32-year-old, who plays Walford witch Janine Butcher in the show, told her friends that she's set her sights on Los Angeles.
"Charlie wants to give Los Angeles a try and won't be satisfied until she does. As far as she understands, there will be an option to return. Janine is a ratings winner, and she's hugely regarded among the cast and crew," a source said.
Brooks joined "EastEnders" in 1999. She left in 2004, then returned in 2008.
She quit again in September 2012 for six months -- appearing in a show "I'm A Celebrity" and touring Australia with daughter Kiki, eight.
She began filming "EastEnders" again in February.
