London: Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones has advised single people not to give up on love.
The 40-year-old actress, who plays a divorced mother who falls for a younger man (Justin Bartha) in romantic comedy The Rebound, claimed falling in love after a divorce or break-up could be better than the first time.
"It's so great when you see these people finding love again, second time round - so many people say to me second time round's really best," The Mirror quoted Zeta Jones said.
"I don't really want to get there actually, but I think that's what both men and women can relate to. You will find love again if you put yourself out there to be loved and to love," she added.
Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas' second wife, likes the message of the film that you can find love again.
"What's enduring and what's universal to the piece is that divorce and the break up of relationships don't just happen to women - and the emotions that come out of that don't just happen to women. It happens to men too," the Academy award-winning actress said.
"Everyone thinks, ‘Oh the divorced woman, OMG, she's got two kids, poor baby', but it happens on both sides," she added.
