Los Angeles: "Breaking Bad" won the Emmy award for outstanding drama series at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, while Claire Danes and Jeff Daniels bagged best actress and actor gongs, respectively, in the drama category.
This is the show's first win at the Emmy. It talks about the life of a teacher Walter White - played by Bryan Cranston - who turns into a drug kingpin.
Danes won the award Sunday for "Homeland" and Daniels for "The Newsroom".
Actress Anna Gunn, who plays Skyler White in "Breaking Bad", won best supporting actress award in a drama series.
Actor Bobby Cannavale took home best supporting actor trophy for his work in "Boardwalk Empire".
Henry Fincher won the award for outstanding writer for "Homeland", while director David Fincher was named the outstanding director for "House Of Cards".
