Jaipur : Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt is coming to Jaipur on Friday. He would be in the city with a 60-member crew to shoot a commercial on the outskirts of Jaipur for three days, reports the Mumbai newspaper DNA.
The visit is being kept under wraps by both the star's publicist and his film company. Brad Pitt would stay in a five-star hotel from October 8 with his team. An official of the five-star hotel confirmed that the star would indeed be their guest.
‘The bookings were made some time back. But the agency organising his stay told us that they would confirm the travel plans only on October 5', says the report quoting a reliable source. A Mumbai-based firm has finalised the star's itinerary in Jaipur.
"They are organising every-thing, from bookings in the hotel to transportation, everything. Access to Brad would be limited," sources said.
It is not known if Pitt's companion Angelina Jolie would accompany him. A few years ago, the duo had travelled together to India to shoot for the film A Mighty Heart, based on the life of journalist Daniel Pearl. Pitt is among a string of stars who would be visiting Jaipur this year in connection with their work.
Reports indicate that Tom Cruise, Pitt's closest rival in Hollywood, is keen on canning part IV of his Mission Impossible series in Jaipur and Udaipur. Besides MI 4, Fox Searchlight's The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, starring Slumdog Millionaire famed Dev Patel, is also going to have an over two-month-long shooting schedule in Udaipur.
