Los Angeles: Putting yet another feather to his cap is actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who is all set to be popular 'Sher Khan' from Jungle Book.

The actor has earlier been appreciated for his performances in films like 'Sherlock,' 'The Fifth Estate' and the recent '12 Years a Slave.'

Now, if the buzz is to be believed, then actor Benedict Cumberbatch will lend his voice for Sher Khan in the upcoming Warner Bros' film adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book".

Cumberbatch has been cast as the voice of the man eating tiger in the film, which has been tentatively titled "Jungle Book: Origins", reports eonline.com.

The Warner Bros project is expected to release Oct 21, 2016.
