Los Angeles, Aug 11: Actor Alec Baldwin is reportedly in talks to host a new TV show on channel MSNBC.
The actor is said to have been approached by MSNBC to present a weekly programme, which "will feature a large dose of Baldwin's outspoken liberal politics", reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 55-year-old recently said that he had been offered the role of a villain in an upcoming Marvel superhero film, but ultimately declined as his wife Hilaria is due to give birth imminently.
"I have been offered a role in a superhero movie, but I won't mention which one. I don't want to undo somebody because they hired someone else to do it. But they asked me to play a villain in one of these Marvel Comics movies," said Baldwin.
"I wasn't available. They wanted me to work a certain time, and because of my wife's pregnancy, I had to turn down two films this summer that I wanted to do," he added.
Baldwin will next be seen starring alongside Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett in Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine".
