London: Singer Adele, who returned from hiatus earlier this year with a new album “25”, has a pending tax bill worth 4 million pounds.
Despite of being inactive last year, Adele is still paying off her tax bills, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
As Adele was still earning royalties from her 2011 album “21” and her 2012 Bond song “Skyfall”, the 27-year-old star's firm Melted Stone Ltd. owes the money in corporation tax, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
The “Rolling in the deep” hitmaker is worth an estimated 50 million pound and her latest record, which released in October, sold over 3 million copies in its first week.
