London: Hip-hop superstar 50 Cent is set to make his 37th birthday extra special for fans by giving away his new album for free.
The 36-year-old 'In Da Club' hitmaker, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, will make the release available for download online, completely free of charge.
In a series of Twitter posts, he writes, "You can't buy album 5 it's Free. Street king immortal will be for sale... The full CD will be out on my birthday."
The singer's follow-up to 2009's 'Before I Self Destruct' has been delayed since last year, when he entered into a war of words with Interscope Records bosses for moving in slow motion.
He recently said that his next project would be called 5 (Murder by Numbers), but it won't be his official Interscope disc. The album, titled Street King Immortal, will hit music retailers in November.
