London, Dec 25: She took to the catwalk for Blue Man's swimwear show at Rio Fashion Week in June. 29-year-old Lea T was first discovered by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci in 2010.
A former backstage assistant, Givenchy included her in their 2010 autumn/winter campaign. She's since appeared on the covers of top glossies including French Vogue and Italian Vanity Fair.
Another model who was big in 2011 was Sport Illustrated swimsuit model Irina Shayk. She hit the catwalk on her very first visit to Istanbul in February. Shayk also appeared at the Valentines day launch party of “Sports Illustrated” in New York.
The model's career has been meteoric since her discovery in 2004 when she won a beauty contest organized by fashion scout Guia Jikidze.
Shayk is now an ambassador for the Intimissimi brand and the face of Lacoste and LaPerla. She has modeled for Armani Exchange and Guess and has graced the covers of GQ Spain and Elle Spain.
Movie star Megan Fox also unveiled her new sexy commercial for Emporio Armani in 2011.
The ad, which features the actress in a skimpy bikini, proved a big hit with her male fans. Fox's first shoot for Armani was in 2010.
