London: Britney Spears has slammed reports that a body double was used in the upcoming video for Hold It Against Me.
The rumours doing the rounds was that Britney was replaced after struggling with choreography for new video.
The shoot for the Hold It Against Me clip has been dogged by US entertainment press stories that she had not practiced enough and was struggling with her choreography, reports the Daily Mail.
According to one celebrity website, "multiple sources" claimed director Jonas Akerlund was so upset he asked her dance double Allison Kyler to fill in.
And that the situation was said to have become so heated up Spears "left the set crying".
A spokesperson for Spears told TMZ, "These accusations could not be further from the truth."
"Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shoot."
The spokesperson said Spears and Akerlund "got along great", adding: "Fans will immediately see how inaccurate these claims are once they see the video."
Meanwhile, Akerlund said the singer has been "great throughout the entire process" and gave it her "all".
"This video is gonna be f***ing awesome. It's all Britney," he added.
