The Grinch First Look Poster: Be ready to relive happy noughties in this animated version of Theodore Seuss’s story

On Thursday, the makers dropped the first look poster of upcoming Hollywood animated movie The Grinch. The film is based on Theodore Seuss’s 1957 story How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

On Thursday, the makers dropped the first look poster of upcoming Hollywood animated movie The Grinch. The film is based on Theodore Seuss’s 1957 story How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In 2000, a Hollywood flick was based on the story which had versatile actor Jim Carrey playing the green ogre Grinch. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the poster on his Twitter.

He tweeted, "This #Diwali... From the creators of #DespicableMe, #TheSecretLifeOfPets and #Sing...

According to Deadline, 'Sherlock Holmes' actor Benedict Cumberbatch is set to lend his voice to the titular character 'The Grinch'. Singer Pharrell Williams has been roped in to be the narrator for the movie. The animated movie, which is being helmed by Yarrow Cheney and Scott Mosier, is set to hit theatres on November 9.

The original story revolves around the Grinch who hatches an evil plan with his canine Max to sabotage Christmas for the residents of Whoville, when they plan to make their annual holiday three times bigger that year. Meanwhile, Cindy Lou Who embarks on a quest to find Santa Claus but accidently she blows the Grinchs’s cover.
