Priyanka Chopra, Mindy Kaling's wedding comedy to be shot in India and the US
Priyanka Chopra has signed her another Hollywood project. The actress has been roped in to do a wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling. While the title has not been decided as yet, the reports are doing rounds that the filming for the movie will take place in the US and India. In India, the major shooting will take place in Delhi as well as Rajasthan. The hunt for the location has already begun, according to the Mid-Day.
Priyanka Chopra and Mindy Kaling's wedding comedy is based on Indian weddings and hence, they want to explore Delhi and Rajasthan as they are perfectly suitable to capture Indian flavours. A luxury villa in Ranthambore is among the one of their choices to shoot the film. The script for the film will be completed by August and the team will fly down to India to finalise locations.
The film will go on floors in November this year. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra had wrapped up shooting for The Sky Is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. It is helmed by National Award-winning director Shonali Bose. The film releases in October.
