Actress Priyanka Chopra has recently announced that the third season of her American thriller series Quantico is on cards. The actress, who started her acting career in the west with the show has wrapped up the shoot of the second season.
Priyanka took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the information. She tweeted, “Andddd... that's a wrap on #Quanticoseason2 Thank you, our lovely audience for all the love & support always! See you on the other side!”
She later announced Quantico 3. PeeCee tweeted, “So excited about the season 3 pick up for #Quantico congrats to everyone who made it happen! #AlexParrish will be back soon.”
Speculations were rife that Quantico will be scrapped after the second season because of its low TV ratings. But, the latest announcement is good news for all Priyanka’s fans. If reports are to be believed, the third season will only have 13 episodes.

On the work front, Priyanka is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Baywatch in which she will be seen playing an antagonist. The movie also stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
Priyanka turned heads in a shimmering blue dress recently when graced the Baywatch premiere in Miami.
Baywatch is slated to release on May 25.
