Good news for Daniel Craig fans: British actor confirms he’s returning as James Bond

Daniel Craig’s last film Skyfall, released in 2012, was a box office winner with the collection of a whopping 885 million pounds.

Good news for Daniel Craig fans British actor to return as James Bond

British star Daniel Craig has finally announced that he will return as James Bond in the upcoming 25th instalment of the film franchise. However, this might be his last outing as the popular spy. Craig made the announcement on American TV show "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Tuesday night, reports theguardian.com.On the show, Craig was asked about whether he will play Bond for the fifth time after "Casino Royale" (2006), "Quantum of Solace" (2008), "Skyfall" (2012) and "Spectre" (2015).

"I have been quite cagey about it. I have been doing interviews all day and people have been asking me and I think I've been rather coy. But kind of felt like if I was going to speak the truth I should speak truth to you," Craig said.

Colbert then asked: "We could use some good news here. Daniel Craig, will you return as James Bond?" Craig then replied: "Yes".

But, Craig then hinted that it would be his last outing as the famous fictional secret agent.

"I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note and I can't wait," he said.

Daniel Craig’s last film Skyfall, released in 2012, was a box office winner with the collection of a whopping 885 million pounds. The latest film which is named Bond25 could start filming next year. And not just Daniel Craig, the film could also see the return of singer Adele who sang the Skyfall theme song and won a Brit Award, Grammy Award and Golden Globe for it.
