Former football player David Beckham revealed that he wants to buy an island for his wife and singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham to mark their 20th anniversary.
It has been two decades since the football star has started seeing the 43-year-old former Spice Girls singer. On this great occasion of his life, he’s eyeing to buy a number of private islands for his long term partner.
According to a source, David has been looking at territories in the Caribbean as he thinks it would be the perfect gift so he and his wife, along with their children -- Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper -- could go on holiday without being bothered, reports femalefirst.co.uk. He wanted to give her a gift of privacy to mark their two decades of togetherness.
"David loves the idea of the family having their own A-list status symbol and has always envied Richard Branson owning Necker Island," the source told Heat magazine.
"The whole family would be able to enjoy holidays without worrying about paparazzi or fans wanting selfies," the source added.
David Beckham married Victoria in 1999 and has three sons namely, Brooklyn (18), Romeo (14) and Cruz (12) along with a five-year-old daughter Harper.
