It needs another $100 million to beat James Cameron's Avatar's unparalleled record of being the highest grossing film ever. According to the Forbes reports, Avengers: Endgame has raked in $2.686 million after its fifth weekend. It released worldwide on April 26, successfully running in theatres even a month after its release.
Avengers: Endgame is currently seated at the number 19 spot on the rankings. It is way ahead of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Lion King. If the film becomes a rager like Avengers: Infinity War, it will make $870 million easily.
So far, the Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans starrer Avengers: Endgame has crossed the worldwide collection of James Cameron's Titanic. Cameron congratulated Marvel and Russo Brothers for their amazing feat. He tweeted a picture of Avengers icon sinking the Titanic taking a jibe at the box office collection of the Marvel film.
Avengers: Endgame has crossed Rs 400 crore in India. It has easily become the year's biggest film defeating the likes of many blockbusters like Baahubali: The Conclusion, Dangal and Sanju. It is the biggest Hollywood film of all time in India.
