Avengers Endgame India Box Office Collection Day 1: Avengers Endgame wave has shattered several records not only worldwide but in India as well. The fourth and last movie of the franchise has been directed by Russo brothers-Anthony and Joe Russo. Avengers Endgame which features an ensemble star cast such as Robert Downey Jr., Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson was one of the much-awaited movies of 2019. Even before its release, trade analysts were confirmed that the movie will bring Tsunami at the box office across the globe. Well, their prediction has turned out to be true. Endgame has not just emerged to be the the biggest Hollywood opener till date but has also surpassed day one business of Thugs of Hindostan, which was till date the biggest opener in Hindi film industry.

The NETT box office collection is Rs 53.10 crore whereas Gross collection stands to Rs 63.21 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to sing praises of the magnificent day one collection of MCU's production. He even slammed Hindi film industry whho believe that Holiday release guarantees success to the movies. ''#AvengersEndgame emerges a game changer... Sets new benchmarks on Day 1... An eye opener for the industry that feels national holidays/festivals yield best results at the BO... Fri ₹ 53.10 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 63.21 cr. NON-HOLIDAY RELEASE.''

Avengers Endgame has done quite better than Infinity War. Was it due to buzz or emotional connect, the reason behind massive response is not tough to be figured out. While Infinity War minted Rs 31.30 crore, Endgame raked in Rs 53.10 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted, ''#AvengersInfinityWar versus #AvengersEndgame... Day 1 biz...2018: #AvengersInfinityWar ₹ 31.30 cr / 2000+ screens 2019: #AvengersEndgame ₹ 53.10 cr / 2845 screens #English #Hindi #Tamil #Telugu Nett BOC. India biz.''

Endgame has already opened with a phenomenal 107.5 million dollars at the China box office and has set single-day BO records not only in China but also in Australia, New Zealand and other countries as per AFP. However, it is yet to be seen whether it can beat James Cameron’s Avatar to become the highest worldwide grossing movie ever.

Avengers: Endgame is the 22nd superhero film of the MCU and sequel to 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. In Endgame, we see the aftermath of Thanos's destructive power, who has already wiped half of the universe. We have also lost some of our favourite superheroes, hence, the Endgame focuses on how remaining superheroes bring back the rest of their friend. “This movie focuses on the six original Avengers and closes the book and the stories being told about them in the last decade. We spent a lot of time with the writers to see that we deliver a powerful, emotionally impactful ending and hopefully it will be delivered,'' Joe Russo said during his Mumbai visit.

IndiaTV critic gave Avengers Endgame five stars and wrote, ''Avengers: Endgame was indeed, a quick nostalgia trip to all the 21 Marvel films we've seen so far. We've known these superheroes so well, their weakness and their strengths, that watching them rise and fall was a bittersweet feeling. The surprise element was that you may see your favourite superhero in their worst form and see the unexpected ones to take the baton from them. There were many hoot-worthy moments where you may want to jump in joy or weep in the corner. Basically, Avengers: Endgame was not just a film for devoted Marvel fans. It was an experience, a nail-biting one. They want their superheroes to win, unharmed. They want the good to triumph over the evil. And in the course of the entire film, they'll witness many moments where their 'Avengers' may fall''. Read full review here.
