Avengers Endgame box office collection Day 3: This Marvel film is unstoppable
Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly the most talked about film these days. The film has not just met the expectations of the fans in terms of its story as well as the characters but has left them feeling all the emotions at once. The film has even set fire on the box office with over 100 crores in just two days. Avengers: Endgame has even left Baahubali behind which crossed the 100-crore mark in three days. It won’t be wrong to say that the film is here to set new records and break every existing record with each passing day.
The weekend collection of the film is whopping $ 1.2 billion worldwide with makes Rs 8,384 Crores in Indian currency. According to Disney estimates, the film garnered $350 million in the United States and Canada from Thursday night through Sunday and un China, the world’s second-largest movie market, Endgame collected $330.5 million since its debut on Wednesday.
Taking to Instagram, Bollywood critic and Trade Analyst revealed the second day box office collections of Avengers: Endgame and wrote, “#AvengersEndgame crosses 100 cr in 2 days... #Baahubali2 [#Hindi] crossed 100cr in 3 days and so did the biggies from the Hindi film industry... #AvengersEndgame is all set to have the highest ever opening weekend... Boxoffice is on FIRE. #AvengersEndgame is rewriting record books... Puts up a HISTORIC total on Day 2... Eyes 150 cr plus weekend... No biggie from Hindi film industry has achieved the target so far... Fri 53.10 cr, Sat 51.40 cr. Total: ₹ 104.50 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: 124.40 cr.”
Endgame has already opened with a phenomenal 107.5 million dollars at the China box office and has set single-day BO records not only in China but also in Australia, New Zealand and other countries as per AFP. However, it is yet to be seen whether it can beat James Cameron’s Avatar to become the highest worldwide grossing movie ever.
Avengers: Endgame is the 22nd superhero film of the MCU and sequel to 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. In Endgame, we see the aftermath of Thanos's destructive power, who has already wiped half of the universe. We have also lost some of our favourite superheroes, hence, the Endgame focuses on how remaining superheroes bring back the rest of their friend. “This movie focuses on the six original Avengers and closes the book and the stories being told about them in the last decade. We spent a lot of time with the writers to see that we deliver a powerful, emotionally impactful ending and hopefully it will be delivered,'' Joe Russo said during his Mumbai visit.
