Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s purple lipstick
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made an unusual style statement at the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
The Sarabjit actress wore a beautiful floral Rami Kadi dress and completed her look with smoky eyes and purple lips.

Sona Saigal’s red carpet debut
Radio actress Sonal Saigal walked the red carpet, as she attended the premiere of Robert De Niro's film Hands of Stone.
Sonal kept her hair loose and went for a flirty black creation designed by Gauri and Nainika.
Sonam Kapoor’s ‘not-so-impressive’ look
Bollywood fashionista Sonam wore a Ralph and Russo gown for her last formal appearance at Cannes 2016 with the amfAR Gala. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the 30-year-old actress looked lovely in the gold-embroidered gown, but, alas, after much of the drama of her previous selections, this one felt a lot safe.
What was interesting, though, was that Sonam paired the off-shoulder dress with a pair of big golden jhumkas. Nice way of bringing in some desi glam to her look
Frieda Pinto’s graceful appearances
Frieda Pinto raised the style stakes from the sides by attending two very different events at the film festival.
Attending a press conference Freida wore a moulded seam dress by Prabal Gurung, hand-embroidered with Nepalese jewellery. Her look was finished with Amarapali jewels, a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes and Audemar Piguet watch.
Seen attending the Women in Motion Prize reception at the festival, the actress switched up her style in an embellished Elie Saab dress cinched at the waist. A ponytail, red lips and silver heels finished her look.
