October 24 marked Bijoya Dashami, the day when Goddess Durga killed the demon king Mahishasura. Over the years, Dussehra turned into a star-studded affair in Mumbai. Organised by Rani Mukerji's family, Durga Pandal is visited by Bollywood's A-listers every year. On Tuesday, Mukerji performed Sindoor Khela with the stars and the video is now viral.
Rani Mukerji can be seen slaying in a beige-red coloured Bengali saree. She completed her look with a red bindi, loose hair, gold earrings, and a heavy necklace. She also wrote the traditional Bengali bangles, shaka pola. She further dances to the beats of Dhaak.

The video was widely circulated on social media and fans hailed the actor for her grace. One fan wrote, "Rani is looking soo beautiful." Another user wrote, "These celebrities keep our tradition alive and show /encourage new blood how rich our tradition and festivals are." Yet another user commented, "She is so humble and sweet."

Katrina Kaif attends Durga Puja celebrations
Rani Mukerji performed puja at the Sarbojanin Durga Puja in North Mumbai. From Kiara Advani to Kajol to Katrina Kaif, several celebrities attended the Puja celebrations this year. Early today, Mukerji was spotted with Katrina Kaif inside the pandal. While Kaif donned a yellow saree with a matching blouse, Mukerji opted for a cream-coloured saree with a blue border.

On Monday, TV star Sumona Chakraborty was spotted performing Dhunuchi Nach inside the pandal. For those who don't know, Ayan Mukerji's father and Rani Mukerji's uncle, Deb Mukherjee organises Durga Puja celebrations every year. In 2022, they marked the 75th anniversary of the celebrations.
