Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case. She is being questioned by the ED for the last five hours in the national capital on Monday. According to reports, the case is in connection with a multi-crore extortion racket by a well-known conman named Sukesh Chandrashekar. "She is facing allegations of money laundering and that is why is she is being questioned as a witness in the ongoing case." ED official told ANI. The ED had earlier summoned her to physically join the probe.

For those unversed, Jacqueline happens to be a Sri Lankan national who has been a part of the Bollywood industry for the past 12 years. She was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006. Later, she went on to make her debut in the year 2009 with the film Aladin co-starring Amitabh Bachchan.
On the professional front, she was last seen in the music video of 'Paani Paani' alongside rapper Badshah.
