Abhishek Bachchan who has been quite active on social media recently urged everyone to wear masks and especially "not take the virus lightly." Bachchan who recently got discharged from the hospital after recovering from the deadly COVID-19 shared a video on his Instagram handle. He said, "Whenever you go out or you are with somebody, keep your mask on, guys. It's important." The actor was seen wearing a mask in the video and captioned it as, "Wear your mask. Be safe. Don’t take this virus lightly. #speakingfromexperience #wearamask #covid19 #coronavirus"

Abhishek Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati hospital along with his father in July after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. His treatment went on for almost a month and later he was discharged on August 10. The 44-year-old actor's public service announcement came as the cases of the deadly virus spiked in the country.
For the unversed, India is currently the second worst-hit country in the coronavirus case count whic is just behind USA. The country also just saw its highest single-day rise in both COVID-19 cases and the deaths caused by it.
Meanwhile, talking about Abhishek's family, unfortunately, almost every immediate relative of the actor was diagnosed with COVID-19. His wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan was also tested positive. However, they isolated at home for a week before being moved to hospital. The Bachchan residence Jalsa and adjoining properties were sealed by the Brihanmumbai Corporation (BMC) for safety purposes.
Aishwarya got discharged from the hospital after her recovery on July 27 while days later, on August 2, Amitabh Bachchan was allowed to go home.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan recently made his digital debut with the sequel of the web-series Breathe. He will be next seen in The Big Bull and Bob Biswas which will also release on OTT platform. Bob Biswas is based on the fans' favourite contract killer from Vidya Balan starrer Kahani.
