Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is raising the bar for herself with her choice of roles. After Pari, she was seen in a de-glam avatar in Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and now with Zero, she has impressed her fans and critics alike. In the recently released Zero, Anushka plays a scientist with cerebral palsy. The character is undoubtedly unconventional and playing it on screen was challenging for the actress. However, Anushka perfectly got into the skin of the scientist Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder. After critics and fans, husband Virat Kohli has also showered praises on the actress.

After watching Aanand L Rai's Zero, Virat took to Twitter and gave his review. He especially praised his wife's performance. He wrote, ''Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding.”

Virat is currently on cricket tour in Australia.The ace cricketer was spotted after watching Zero. Check out his video at a mall in Melbourne.

On a related note, Anushka took out time amidst her busy promotions schedule to spend time with her husband. The couple rang in their first wedding anniversary on December 11 together.

On the occasion of their first wedding anniversary, the couple shared some unseen pictures and videos with Instafam. Anushka posted a video with the caption, ''It's heaven, when you don't sense time passing by ... It's heaven, when you marry a good 'man'''. Her cricketer husband also wished his 'soulmate and 'best friend' a happy anniversary. He posted photos with the caption: ''Can't believe it's been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever''

Earlier, talking about her character, Anushka had said, ''I wanted to do it the right way and represent this correctly. Aanand sir and Himanshu (writer Himanshu Sharma) had already researched a lot with doctors (about this condition) when they came to me with the film and had sketched out my character accordingly. I understood their brief and went with their vision and met with the doctors''.

On a related note, Zero made a decent opening of Rs 20.14 crore. However, on Saturday, it witnessed a dip with total collection of Rs 18.22 crore. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has so far earned Rs 38.36 crore.
