After Bollywood power couples Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot, television star Kapil Sharma is set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath while another popular actress has taken the big plunge just today morning.
In a good news for telebuffs, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Parul Chauhan tied the knot with fiance Chirag Thakkar on Wednesday morning. The duo got hitched in a traditional ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family members.

She is known for her work in Bidaai and is now seen as Suwarna in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The wedding will be followed by a couple of receptions, one at her hometown Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh and one in Mumbai for the TV folks.

Family members of the couple were present for the nuptials, which happened with all rituals. Parul wore a heavy Jadau necklace with her Benarasi saree while Chirag accessorized his sherwani with a dazzling emerald necklace. They had been dating for a couple of years. Chirag is an actor as well.

The couple will host a reception for family members and relatives in Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh on December 16. Speaking about her Mumbai reception, Parul said that the plan is yet to be made given that she has been busy with her work commitments.
Parul had earlier said in an interview that she is extremly happy and is really looking forward to this new phase in life. The couple will be celebrating the new years together honeymooning, details of which Parul has kept a secret.
