Will Katrina Kaif play the role of P.T. Usha in the upcoming biopic?

Katrina Kaif, the ‘Madam sir’ from Bharat might be playing the role of P.T. Usha in the upcoming film based on P.T. Usha's biopic. The film is directed by Revathy S Varma. This would be Katrina’s first role in a biopic. Katrina Kaif is enjoying the best career choices presently. She will be seen in Sooryavanshi, opposite Akshay Kumar again. Katrina- Akshay duo is quite appreciated on the screen. Not just this, she is playing a major role in the upcoming movie Bharat, opposite Salman Khan.

According to the sources, Katrina Kaif will be featured as P.T. Usha, the athlete of India. The movie will be released as a multilingual film, which will be showcasing P.T. Usha’s complete life journey. Sources say that earlier this role was offered to Priyanka Chopra years ago. However, due to her commitments in Hollywood, she could not sign the project.

P.T. Usha is one of the renowned athletes of India. She has won Padma Shri award and Arjuna Award in the year 1985. Not just this, she is often addressed as ‘Queen of Indian track and field’. She has bagged 101 international medals. Presently, P.T. Usha is working as an officer in Southern Railways. She is also coaching the young athletes at her training academy in Kerala. P.T. Usha definitely deserves a biopic.
