Rohit Shetty’s latest release Simmba is successfully ruling the box-office and the film has already crossed Rs 100 crore mark in just five days of its release. Simmba featuring Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh has earned Rs 125 crore at box-office till Wednesday. But it seems the filmmaker Rohit is not satisfied with the success of his film as he asked Sara to let his half-brother Taimur promote his film.
Recently, during the promotions of his film Simmba, Rohit asked Sara to let Taimur wear Simmba T-shirt for a day. He said, "Meri film ki opening lag jayegi."
Undoubtedly, Taimur is one of the most popular star kids in the tinsel town. Taimur’s grandmother Sharmila Tagore once talking about his grandson’s popularity said that he is more popular than her. She said, "He is more famous than I am."
Meanwhile, Sharmila’s daughter Soha Ali Khan earlier talking about Taimur and constant media attention on him, said, "We understand public scrutiny is part of the job but that is a call we took for ourselves not our children, so it doesn't seem fair for them to be exposed to the media glare."
