When Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra broke their engagement news to Parineeti Chopra at 3 am

Ever since Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra’s link-up rumours with American singer Nick Jonas started to surface the internet, cousin Parineeti Chopra is being flooded with questions about them. The actress who is currently promoting her upcoming film Kesari along with Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar was recently asked about PeeCee’s engagement to Nick Jonas and she lent out interesting details about the same.

In an interview with Times of India, Parineeti Chopra talked about the newlyweds and revealed how she got to know about their engagement at 3a in the morning. She said, "I have known him (Nick Jonas) since the time he was the boyfriend, today he is the husband. They had just started dating when I first met him. After that, we all went to Goa for a holiday and had a blast. I remember telling him there, ‘Buddy, I really like you. It’s nice that it’s working out’."

Parineeti revealed that when they came back from their trip, she told PeeCee that she had seen her this happy after many, many years. The actress added, "A month or two later, I had missed calls from her at 3 am and when I called them back, they were on a video call with me; they showed me the rings and said that they were engaged. I told them that there was never a doubt in my mind that this would happen because they are so good together."

She also added, "I tell her that I still can’t believe that she is married, but I also can’t imagine her being married to anyone else." Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got hitched at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in December last year. The couple married according to two ceremonies- Hindu traditions and the Christian wedding.
