Ayushmann Khurrana is having a golden run at the box office. After Sriram Raghavan's thriller AndhaDhun, he amazed the audience with his Delhi boy charm in Badhaai Ho. While AndhaDhun performed unbelievably well at the box office, Badhaai Ho is inching closer to the Rs 100 crores mark. The actor recently appeared on No Filter Neha where he opened on several things related to his life and early days. From making revelations on his name to narrating how he fooled around the hospital as a medical student, the actor was in no mood to hide anything.

Ayushmann revealed that during his struggle days in Mumbai, he lived with his friend in his hostel, who was a medical student. For around two months, he used a hostel room, entered the hospital's gym and fooled around by wearing a lab coat. Ayushmann said he even thought of taking a break after completing his education in order to figure out his career. However, that couldn't happen.

Ayushmann shared that the script of Hickhi was first brought to him. Director Siddharth P Malhotra approached Ayushmann with the story but producer Aditya Chopra realised that there should be a female protagonist. Hence, the role went to his wife Rani Mukerji. The movie was not only appreciated by everyone, but even Rani was showered with praises for performance in her comeback movie. The critically acclaimed actress played a teacher with Tourette syndrome in the flick.

Ayushmann also opened up about the mystery behind the spelling of his name. The actor said though he doesn't believe in astrology, his father, who is an astrologer suggested him to change the spelling of his name. So, the credit for extra alphabets goes to his dad.
