Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released amidst much controversy. From directorial credits to actors quitting the film, the historical patriotic drama mostly hit the headlines because of negative reports. Now month after its release, a video has surfaced online to give this serious film a comic edge. In the clip shared on Facebook, one can see Ranaut brandishing her swords while riding a dummy horse. She screams and gallops on the horse which is mounted on rails. As soon as the shot is completed, her assistants run up to her with the make-up kit and an umbrella.

This behind-the-scenes clip from Manikarnika has triggered several memes. Netizens are also taking a jibe at the sequence by calling it a 'Hollywood level stunt'.
Manikarnika has entered the Rs 100 crore club and the director-actress Kangana is quite elated at the response of the audience. On its success, Kangana's Ranaut said " Commercial success makes my first directorial even more special, Manikarnika has been loved by people and it has done justice to the legacy of Laxmi Bai, that is a lot more gratifying for me. " The movie was released across 3,000 screens in India and 700 screens overseas in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.
Kangana Ranaut's film, which portrays the journey of Rani Laxmibai and tells her tale of valour, released on January 25. Kangana's performance got rave reviews from critics.
For unversed, initially Krish was the director of the film but Kangana stepped into his shoes mid-way. Later, Krish alleged that the actress had strong-armed her way into the film and took his credit. However, the complete film gives credit to both Kangana and Krish.
