Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has been in the news since the day she revisited her 2008's sexual harassment incident. She accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the movie Horn Ok Pleassss. She recently reopened the case and filed a police complaint as well. Nana Patekar who was spotted by the paparazzi recently has denied all the charges and even sent a legal notice to withdraw the allegations and to apologize. Film fraternity members are coming forward are commenting on the MeToo topic and some are even supporting Dutta as well.
Now a press conference from the year 2008 has resurfaced on the internet and during the same he defended himself when he was asked about the allegations back then. In the video, he referred Tanushree as Bacchi (kid) and clearly denied all her claims and accusations. In the video, he also said that he is clarifying on the same on the insistence of producer and director of movie Horn OK Pleassss.
Also, he had said that how Tanushree was supposed to touch him in the song and how he don't remember touching her at all. He also said how he has earned respect over the years and how he feels disgusted to know about such allegations slapped on him.
A reporter said that Tanushree made several allegations against makers of the film, saying, "I'm not able to do the rehearsals, I'm not able to do the dance steps that is why I am being put down on the set even though I was giving a lot of time on the set." To this, Nana said that he isn't answerable to any of this queries since only the director and producer can answer why she was dealt with this way.
The report further questioned Nana that Tanushree claimed that the veteran actor called her 'beti' (daughter) now and said, "I wish he made me feel like a 'beti' that time too." To this Nana said, "I can't give any explanation to this. Don't ask these dirty questions to me. She is younger than my child. Leave it, it's not about what she thought. This allegation is wrong. This is all I can say about it."
