Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding reception card is nothing like you saw ever before. We've seen umpteem wedding invitation cards offering sumptuous gastranomical treats, but Virushka wedding was different. And hence their wedding reception invite also carried a special message attached to it. Inside the invite, there was a Tulsi plant, forwarding the couple's 'Go Green' message which they've been propagating since a long time. The weddingg invite is designed by popular designer Sandy Khurana, who has helmed the wedding invitations of many popular celebrities. The invite, in the colour of gold and white, was carefully wrapped inside a paper bag along with a box of exotic sweets. The text on the card was embossed, adding a vintage touch to it.
The package also included a Tulsi sapling which symbolised Virat and Anushka's dedication towards environment and also represented their beginning of a new journey.
The reception is being held at the Durbar Hall of Taj Hotel in Chanakyapuri of Delhi. The grand reception is being held mainly for the friends and family members of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who weren't able to bless the couple in their Tuscan wedding.
Virat Kohli's family members including mother Saroj Kohli, sister Bhavna and brother-in-law Sanjay Dhingra, brother Vikas and sister-in-law Chetna Kohli and neices and nephews attended the event tonight.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma's parents, Ashima and Ajay Sharma, brother Karnesh Sharma attended the reception party.
On December 20, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli especially visited PM Modi to invite him on their wedding reception in New Delhi. Anushka was spotted in an electric blue suit while Virat was wearing a black churidar kurta.
