The duo got married in Tuscany, Italy on December 11 2017 and right from their wedding, the couple kept everything a super secret. After tying the knot, the couple flew to Finland to have their dreamy honeymoon. The actress even posted a picture from her Finnish honeymoon on her Instagram.
The duo was wrapped in each other’s embrace with the backdrop of snow-clad mountains of Europe. Some speculated the place to be either Rome or Switzerland, but it turned out to be Finland.

On December 21, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma hosted a grand reception in New Delhi which was graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well. Coming back to Mumbai, the duo threw another lavish reception for their industry friends at St. Regis Hotel’s Astor Ballroom. It was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Nita Ambani and many more A-listers of the industry.
Anushka Sharma wore a Sabyasachi lehenga pairing it up with a traditional red chooda. The actress left her hair open. She wore a diamond necklace from Sabyasachi fine jewelry collection. Virat Kohli, on the other hand wore a traditional Raghavendra Rathore. The pictures from their grand reception are still doing rounds on internet.
