Vicky Kaushal is injured but that doesn't seem to deter the flow of his social media updates. Despite having received 13 stitches on his cheeks, Uri: The Surgical Strike actor is keeping his fans and followers entertained on Instagram. On Saturday, Vicky shared his childhood photo with a funny caption. In the picture, you can see junior Vicky with messy hair adorably staring at the camera. ''Post shave look,'' wrote Vicky alongside the photo. The post left Vicky's Love Square Foot co-star Angira Dhar in splits.

For unversed, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to inform fans about the actor's injury. Vicky got injured while shooting for a horror film in Gujarat. "Vicky Kaushal gets injured while filming an action sequence... Shooting for director Bhanu Pratap Singh's horror film in #Gujarat... Vicky fractured his cheekbone and got 13 stitches on his cheek,'' Taran Adarsh wrote.

As per the official statement, the incident took place Thursday when Kaushal was filming an action sequence in a ship during a night shoot. "The crew has been shooting in Gujarat since the last five days. During a night shoot on Thursday, when Vicky was filming an action sequence in a ship, he had to run and open the door. Unfortunately, the door fell on him and he was badly hurt," the statement read. The actor was immediately rushed to a local hospital by the crew from where he was flown back to Mumbai for further treatment.

On a related note, Vicky Kaushal's last film Uri: The Surgical Strike went on to be a blockbuster with box office collection of over Rs 200 crore. Uri was also the first solo hero film of Vicky. Meanwhile, Vicky has a couple of projects in the pipeline including Karan Johar's Takht and Shoojit Sircar's Udham Singh.
