Vicky Kaushal has turned a year older today as the Uri actor is celebrating his 30th birthday on May 16. While the actor's co-stars, celebrity friends and fans are busy wishing him on social media, he took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his birthday celebration. The actor rang in his birthday with his close friends. It was an intimate celebration in which Vicky's friends treated him with burger and french fries. The actor shared his smiling pictures on Instagram with burger and fries that had candles over them.

''The smile on my face is because of the people you see in the reflection behind. Thank You guys. Also, feeling so damn blessed reading all your wonderful wishes. Thank You so much for this beautiful shower of love and blessings. Lots of love and a big hug to each one of you. And that btw, on the table, was my birthday cake!,'' the actor captioned the pictures.

Last year was game-changer for Vicky. The actor garnered praise for all his three releases- Raazi, Sanju and Manmarziyan. While in Raazi, he played calm and lovable Iqbal, in Sanju, Vicky became an epitome of best friend with Kamli. On the other hand, his role in Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan changed people's perspective towards him. 

The ride of success that began with Raazi had no stopping. This year, Vicky made his solo-hero debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike, which went on to be a blockbuster. Vicky has carved a niche in the industry. From playing a boy-next-door to commando, Vicky has come a long way in Bollywood. The actor will soon be seen playing freedom fighter Udham Singh in Shoojit Sircar's directorial.
