Vicky Kaushal roped in for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Land Of Lungi, courtesy Akshay Kumar?

Vicky Kaushal has been ruling the hearts of the viewers in every way possible. The actor is all set to step into the shoes of Sardar Udham Singh for his next film and looks like he has bagged yet another Bollywood project. The actor has become the choice of all the filmmakers. According to the latest reports, Vicky Kaushal has been roped in for the Land Of Lungi which was offered to Akshay Kumar first. It was earlier reported that Akshay Kumar will be seen in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Veeram, called LOL - Land Of Lungi. But now it is said that Vicky Kaushal has bagged the film.

A source close to the development told an entertainment website, "Akshay and Sajid have discussed the film and they were keen on doing it together. But now, Akshay won't be part of the project anymore. He has already allotted his dates to a few other projects like Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and The End. So, Akki suggested his good friend Sajid to go ahead and make LOL with someone else." Since Akshay Kumar already has a list of films in his kitty including Laxmmi Bomb, Sooryavanshi and The End, he has asked Sajid to go ahead with another actor.

The source added, "Vicky met the director a few months back and expressed his interest in the film after he was given the narration. Vicky already has his date diary full with a few films he's already signed, especially the Udham Singh biopic which will be shot over the next one year. There's Karan Johar's Takht too which might roll by the year end or in January, 2020. So, he has worked out his dates in such a way that he can headline Land Of Lungi now."

On the related note, Vicky Kaushal will also star in Bhanu Pratap Singh's untitled horror film. Vicky kaushal's last film Uri: The Surgical Strike was a blockbuster. the film, which also starred Yami Gautam, made Rs 336.97 worldwide.
