Vicky Kaushal is all set to treat his fans with another stellar performance in the upcoming film Sardar Udham Singh. The actor had already announced the film through his social media in the early days of March and fans have been waiting since then to get a glimpse of the actor stepping into the shoes of the icon. Now the makers have released the first look of Vicky Kaushal as he plays Sardar Udham Singh in the biopic directed by Shoojit Sircar.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh broke the news on the internet and shared a couple of stills of Vicky Kaushal on his social media. He wrote, “Here's the first look... Vicky Kaushal in and as #SardarUdhamSingh... Directed by Shoojit Sircar... Written by Ritesh Shah and Shubendu Bhattacharya... Earlier when Vicky kaushla announced the film Sardar Udham Singh, he shared a picture with the makers of the biopic and wrote, “An absolute honour to be roped in to play Shaheed Udham Singh, in his biopic to be directed by @shoojitsircar sir... the man who was sitting right at the top of my wish list of Directors to work with. Can’t wait for this journey to start next month. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri.”
Interestingly, Vicky Kaushal shared a story on his Instgaram in which he is seen enjoying a song on loop but has also masked his face to hide his look for the film Sardar Udham Singh from the fans. The actor went clean shaven for his look in the film and looks like his last post on Instagram was the aftermath of getting clean shaved for the film. Vicky Kaushal shared his childhood photo with a funny caption. In the picture, you can see junior Vicky with messy hair adorably staring at the camera.
