Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is always winning hearts with her beautiful smile and charming style. Today, Deepika is one of the most popular actresses in the Bollywood film industry for her stupendous acting skills and elegant fashion choices. The 33-year-old actress, who is married to actor Ranveer Singh, recently bagged the Best Actress award at the Zee Cine awards function.
Hosted by actors Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan, the event ended on a successful note. But for your information, let us tell you that there were quite a few instances which happened that day on the stage. Fan-favourite couple Deepika and Ranveer were asked to recreate their marriage and take the seven pheras at the event. Now, according to the media report, Uri famed actor Vicky Kaushal repeatedly kept calling Deepika as his Bhabhi which annoyed her a lot.
Deepika asked Vicky not to call her that but he continued to tease her which left the audiences laughing. Later on, both the hosts, Vicky and Kartik even photoshopped themselves into Deepika and Ranveer's wedding pictures as they were evidently sad about not being invited into their secret wedding held in Italy.
Actor Ranveer Singh also won the Viewers Choice Award for the Best Actor for his role as Alauddin Khilji in the movie Padmaavat which has been released in the year 2018. The film was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Speaking of Deepika Padukone's professional front, the actress will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's directorial Chhapaak. Deepika plays the role of an acid attack survivor and the story is inspired by a real-life survivor named Laxmi. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in an important role.
