Sonam Kapoor used to call Swara Bhasker at 10am every day
Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding has hit the right chord with the audience and is garnering praises from all corners. With good reviews and huge box office numbers, the movie is having a moment in the sun right now even when it has strong competition from Raazi and Parmanu from earlier weeks. Even when the movie has released, the buzz around the actors refuses to die. In a recent interview Sonam Kapoor revealed that while shooting for Veere Di Wedding, she used to call co-star Swara Bhaskar at 10am every day to wake her up.
In the interview with CNN News18 film critic Rajeev Masand, Sonam revealed that Swara has a problem waking up in the morning. Sonam Kapoor said: “Swara has an issue waking up in the morning. So, I do a thing where I call her up at 10 am purposely. Just to chat.” When Kareena Kapoor Khan heard this, she was shocked. “At 10am also she’s not awake?” the actress asked Sonam in disbelief while turned to Swara and said: “No wonder you are always late.”

We have already heard Kareena complaining about husband Saif Ali Khan being lazy and sleeping till late hours. So we can understand the shocking reaction from Kareena’s side. The actress’ reaction made Sonam laugh and she outed a nickname for Swara, called her ‘raat ki rani’. Sonam also said that in the night Swara does all her tweets and stuff. Before it was too late, Swara spoke up and said, “That sounds so wrong, don’t give trolls hashtags to make.”
Veere Di Wedding is doing phenomenal at the box office. The movie minted a whopping north of Rs 10 crore on its opening day, third highest of 2018 and is expected to do better with good word of mouth.
