Varun Dhawan, who is usually known to put his chirpy side on display, broke down while shooting for an emotional song for Street Dancer 3D.

An actor's job is not an easy one. One has to slip into the character as soon as the camera goes live. Sometimes while playing the character, actor tend to wear the role their playing and it gets emotionally taxing for them. Same happened with Varun Dhawan who is often seen as a happy-go-lucky guy in Bollywood. The actor is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D with Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi. While filming for a sad song, Varun got emotional and broke down on the sets. 

Varun Dhawan uploaded a video on his social media, in which a crew member can be heard asking, "VD, you cried?" 

To this, Varun replied, "I got emotional today because I had to perform a sad song... I am better now."

Varun Dhawan also shared a series of pictures with Street Dancer 3D make Remo D'Souza on the social media. He captioned them, "Years of emotion is expressed in a single take. Give and take is the most fun part of the relationship between a director and actor."

Street Dancer 3D is a dance film helmed by Remo D'Souza who previously directed Race 3. The film also has Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in important roles. The film earlier had Katrina Kaif in the lead role, however due to unknown reasons, the actress walked out of the project only to be replaced by Shraddha Kapoor.
