Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is pretty active on social media posted a romantic throwback picture featuring him and his wife Jaya Bachchan from the movie Abhimaan. Captioning the photo, he wrote, “Life’s memories are made of gentle moments such as this”
In the picture, Amitabh Bachchan is caressing the forehead of his wife and co-star Jaya Bachchan, while she looks down, drowned deep in her thoughts. In just a matter of few hours, the picture has been liked more than 100,000 times on Instagram.
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are certainly one of most loved real-life couples of Bollywood. They met on the sets of Ek Nazar when the things changed for now most famous Bollywood couple. While Jaya Bhaduri (now Bachchan) was a well-established Bollywood actress, Amitabh Bachchan was trying to make a cut in the industry. Though, Amitabh Bachchan was already smitten by Jaya’s beauty by seeing her at a magazine cover, Jaya was impressed by him when she met him on the sets of Guddi.
Rajesh Khanna, being one of the closest friends of Jaya Bachchan didn’t approve of their match. But they paid no heed to the naysayers. They decided to go to London to celebrate Zanjeer’s success, if the film was a hit. So did it happen but Amitabh Bachchan’s father wasn’t approving of this trip unless they were married. So they tied the knot in a haste and left for London the very next day.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is having two films in his kitty. He will be seen alongside Rishi Kapoor in 102 Not Out. The teaser of the film has been released and has aready floored the audience. On the other hand, he will be appearing in Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan alongside Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
